I was pleased to provide the serving dished and bowls for the launch of Aesop's new shop on Broadway Market. Having come half way around the world to launch, they celebrated with lots of local touches including myself, the chef Matthew Young, Pavilion bakery, wine from my friends at Noble Fine Liquors, almond milks from The Pressery and more.
It was a pleasing coincidence of timing as I had just the day before been noticing the design of the shop interior, enjoying it, and thinking about using it as a reference point in the design of my incipient new stand. They use natural materials and my kind of greens, and keep it looking clean and modern too. I think the pots looked right at home!
